This brand new Elitech fixed frame screen is the flagship of Elitech premium quality fixed frame screen specially designed for home theater usage.
The screen features super quality construction of beveled, aluminum frame covered with plush black velvet. The wide of the frame is 3.25 inches. The wider frame offers you a stronger support to prevent the frame from deformation caused by the tight screen extension after years. The long frame of the screen is a solid one piece. Unlike some cheap screens, Elitech Fixed Frame Screens have NO middle connections on the long frames. Which provide much better support to the high-tension screen fabric than those screens with middle frame connections.
Buyers beware: Some sellers are selling fixed frame screens with wood or plastic frames. Please note that wood or plastic material is not suitable for fixed screen's frame, it does not have the excellent elastic characteristic as the aluminum frame, and It is not as strong as aluminum frame. With the wood or plastic frame, the screen cloth cannot be extended as tightly (to eliminate the wrinkles) as on the aluminum frame, and wrinkles will develop very easily. The plastic frame will develop material fatigue after a while, which make the frame subject to distort, bent or break under the high extension force of the screen cloth.
